There are several reasons:
- A place for me to share ideas, opinions, resources and meet like minded people from a wide geographical spread
- Control of my own domain and web space
- A web area to experiment with, store PDP information and try out different technologies
- A record of what I’ve found useful on the web in terms of teaching and learning using technology
- Very fast and easy to publish
